holy cow! what a turn out and what a lovefest. well, while i tried to be a wise@$$ for the first 30 minutes to contain my emotion, but . . . , i could not stop the tears of joy and of sadness. what a nite. i thought three hours would be too long, but several stayed for another two hours!
Nickola, with the help of some others (hmm, Micheil?), rounded up all sorts of people. some people that i never thought i would ever see again and that i had not seen in TWO YEARS! wow! if you ever need a party planned sl, and i mean are willing to pay for a professional event planner, she is great!
she tracked down Sunnygirl and Dixon, whom i had parted ways with 2 years ago and got them to show up, woof, that goes back to when i owned a 4096 lot!
and tons of current residents, i mean lots. it was heart warming and heart breaking. several people made speeches and they had to be talking about someone else. i don’t think i was that nice? (i am pretty much a softie and a sap, but it’s easy to be when you meet such wonderful people) =)
and Nickola really touched a nerve by having someone custom make a poutine server! omg! i know it sounds silly, but that type of gift is so heartfelt. she knows i joke about poutine all the time, but she also knows that poutine brings me to a really happy time in my childhood. it’s iconic of beautiful summer days in quebec. so it is really deeply touching and thoughtful (dang, i am crying again, who the heck cries over poutine!) =)
special thanks to Van for the use of the Saranac House, it was a perfect venue. and Meaty summed it up in an IM tonite: Ener you are not so poor, look around you, to which i replied: i am the richest person in the world

I’m so glad you had a good time, Ener. The outpouring of love from everyone I talked to about the party was amazing. You are very special to so many.

The turnout was great! Micheil surprised us by bringing some ghosts from the past, the location was perfect (Saranac House), and Nickola organized it nicely with speeches n poutine n stuff. And thanks, Aurora Janus, for the party hats :) They were perfect, everybody wanted one. I bet no other “landlord” in SL gets a party this nice!

it was awsome to see so manny people show up in such a short period of time, but then again, for those that know Ener, thats no supprise :) !! oh, and i never knew i liked POUTINE till then :)
