walk, do not run to the nearest sl exit

it’s been a heck of a week for second life, especially for the Lindens. it is very tempting to say “screw you guys, i’m going home” and leave second life. no doubt, many will leave and this may be the reason you do leave, but make a plan, and set your expectations to match where [...]

Zen of Ener: Zener

megaprim martinis

leave a comment

you may have thought it was Ener obsessed with martini’s isl, but that obsession must come from somewhere?*points at subquark* who could be that influential? (or maybe they make a really good martini irl!) well being able to create HUGE prims in Reaction Grid means only one thing – bigger martinis! this is one of [...]

they do if you want to make sculptie cocktail glasses and olives in Seocnd Life! well, you don’t HAVE to use Blender but some of you are already familiar with this free open-source 3D software. now Blender 3D is an awesome program, even used for movies, but . . . it is tough to learn [...]

bad hair day for ener?

lol, except for whacky eyes and a flat hairdo, this is ReactionGrid. this is using the current Second Life viewer so everything is in the same place and works the same the massively big diff is in-world money.  there is none.  so it’s costs nothing to take pics or upload textures (note same shirt from [...]

Haxor Lunar Lounge has a new home

leave a comment

the task of moving the Haxor Lunar Lounge is complete (we think?). it is now in Enercity Easton above Poledra’s awesome city park. we resized the lounge to make it a bit more intimate (from 50 metre megas to 40) and it still has the same awesome dance floor.  anyone can control the dance floor’s [...]

official adult policy email

you should have received this email and we are posting it here as reference (particularly the links). it’s interesting that they send an email out about a policy change to every single account but could not send emails out to estate owners when they announced the OpenSpace changes (they did send one out 18 days [...]

second life sim weirdness

if you are into second life, then you know it has its challenges – often some techie glitches, like sim crossings, lost shoes, rezzing issues, and all that stuff. second life is unique and pushes new media to the limit (not to mention your poor computer). to be fair, Linden Lab is doing what no [...]

Success at Serenity Point

what a fun-filled party at Serenity Point last nite! Norman and Kira and more did an outstanding job. we restarted the sim right before the event and maintained great performance (gee, ain’t that geeky? dancing and keeping an eye on sim stats!)  =D the party was at the roller park which is an old plane-motif [...]

Why we are in Second Life

leave a comment

We love Second Life for many reasons. It’s a wonderful creative outlet and social channel. Linden Lab has the balance just right which allows Second Life to be a social platform, support online gaming (role playing), and be a true virtual world (where you can create almost anything and engage in commerce). The creation tools [...]
