how many of you have a to do list that always has stuff getting pushed back?
for me, sometimes things get pushed back because i just want to veg out and other times it’s just life
virtual worlds are an important aspect of my life – they give me a creative outlet, they often de-stress me because i get lost in making things, and they are part of a bigger project that i am excited about (subQuark’s educational dealio). but . . . they are also easy to push back because i do it in my spare time
sim-on-a-stick is also important to me and, in this case, it is the reason i’m pushing some of my other virtual world tasks back
WhiteStar suggested i repackage the 0.7.3 SoaS version with the latest one because it fixes some important issues. the current SoaS is diva-r18222 and the latest is diva-r18611. in my book, if WhiteStar thinks it might be a good idea, then it’s definitely a good idea! (if you don’t know who WhiteStar is, read his posts on the OSGrid forum – he’s a rockstar imo) *thumbs up*
so . . . look for a new version maybe this weekend or use Diva’s built-in Update function! =)

You seem quite motivated to me Ener. My Virtual World to do list has been pushed back so much it fell off a cliff. I still have all those silly visions on that list, and keep my playtoys running (though limited they are), but I have nothing public and fun on them yet.I am all bounce-bounce and play-play in the Sun this time of year with my playtime, hence completely neglecting my OpenSim goals. I’m a bad Araxie. Send me a bottle of that passion and motivation ;)

Ohh NO !!! Not a ROCK STAR !!! They die horribly and have no idea what a decent poutine is !
An update may be a good idea soonish but I think a bit of extra polish will be needed in regards to backing up & doing a good update/upgrade for those who are actively using SOAS to build & create.
I can help with that but it’s not likely to happen till at least Mid-June before RL Grid gives me back enough time to work on coding up some goodness for that. I’d have to ponder the W5H factors & considerations and see how to best accomplish it for the broad spectrum of people using SOAS.

I use SoaS not *that* often, that I would notice a minor update, but I second the part saying that WS has good ideas. :)
