the infamous Kate from down-under and my personal favourite Aussie (i dunno if she’s a banana bender though, but Commonwealth none the less!) asked about a blog widget for sim-on-a-stick and since her students are incredibly awesome (i love the video with “thanks eh-nah“) i made a couple for her and anyone else

my SoaS blog widget - note that i use divs as vertical spacers and i could leave off the image dimensions since this blog is HTML5
content on sim-on-a-stick dot com is CC licensed as is anything on this blog (unless stated otherwise, like someone else’s images) and you can make any graphics you want and use them almost anyway you like (obey your local laws). i’ll start adding images specific to this in a flickr set and here are some to start complete with text widget HTML code for blog sidebars (change the ‘yourwebsite’ to wherever you save the images or snag the flickr Grab the HTML/BBCode)
images can also be used in presentations, tees, stickers, books, commercial stuff, or whatever you may have a need for. i saw a transcript of some recent educators’ meeting and saw that John Lester (Pathfinder Linden) uses sim-on-a-stick and shares the link – thanks John! creativity is what it’s all about! =)
if you are linking an image in your blog, i’d recommend snagging the image here or from flickr as an actual download so that you don’t need to worry about a broken image some time down the road in case of link changes, etc

Added one, thanks Ener & Kate :-D

questions like –
how did you learn about virtual worlds?
what was your first impression of them and how has that changed?
what are you doing with virtual worlds?
how much time do you spend a month with them?
why do you like using virtual worlds?
what would you say to someone interested in learning more?
