phew! it always takes me longer than i think it should to make the new versions of Sim-on-a-Stick
it’s not Red Bull either
it probably did not help that i was at subQ’s house watching the Democratic National Convention, munching on yummy european cheeses and Italian ham and prosciutto, drinking gobs of Dr. Pepper TEN (“not for women”, pfft!), and sitting on the floor hunched over a laptop! =D
both the zipped package and the installer package have been tested on two machines and seem fine. in my opinion, they need some further testing which will happen friday but all seems well so far
these are clean builds, not updated ones (there is nothing wrong with using Diva’s update function and if you have Sim-on-a-Stick already, you should try it – it’s fast and easy and discussed in yesterday’s post). i do the “clean build” in order to keep the file size as small as possible
the new SoaS 0.7.4 has all of Breen’s mods laid in and even has a relatively easy way to switch from the SoaS default of one region to four regions (i’ll blog on that Friday)
