i’ll always have a connection to Second Life and i guess keeping an eye on total sims is my weird way of doing that. from Grid Survey -
- Jan 1, 2012: 23857 private estates & 7221 Linden owned
- May 14, 2012: 22851 private estates & 7117 Linden owned
- July 15, 2012: 22426 private estates & 7117 Linden owned
total private sims are down 1,431 since the beginning of the year – that eclipses my initial macabre prediction of LL losing 1000 private sims this year but is tracking less than my later revised 2,500 loss
even with this loss, Hamlet Au writes about Second Life being in the top 10 played games by Nielsen ratings!
