reaction grid only rolls out the latest build of opensim after it has been out in the community a while and the bugs worked out. and then Chris from reaction grid does her own testing, including putting up a beta grid for users to try. read how to log in here
it’s a great chance for serious scripters like Dream Walker to go see what’s new. i went in and built a spinney thing and it seemed to work fine (like i would know what to look for?) o_O
you can terraform, build, script, and even mess with clothes (they put some in a vendor just in case you can’t cope). you’re a Ruth and don’t have your inventory but since it’s just for testing, who cares?
it’s kinda fun to be a Ruth imo =)

And that will effectively suck up my holiday weekend!

have fun Mani! i am anxious to see the improvements in Reaction Grid
but, overall, i find reaction grid to work very well – it took me a while because i kept expecting an identical second life experience
but i have not logged into sl in the last 6 weeks and maybe twice in the last 3 months
i even missed my sl rez day of May 16th!
for m, the biggest thing i miss are groups because i use them for team building on our sims – but soon(i hope). i think if you have come from an sl background of a few serious years, it makes it very hard not to have groups, but unless you come from that background, you probably can’t appreciate he usefulness of them
