I guess this would be considered a part time position

lol on the part-time position! not a bad gig, Philip has an incredible home a few blocks from the Golden Gate park – i need a job like his!
indeed Per! it’s a bit much to take all in!

Perhaps if they put a turnstile at the door of the CEO’s office and put a little generator on it they could power something.
Such as their server farm.
Sounds like an Enclave Harbour idea?

I think I remember that this wasn’t supposed to be permanent. But I’d have thought it would have been longer than this. He’s not even hanging around until they get a replacement. That’s probably the most telling part.
If you were one of the Lindens that made it through the layoff, you have to be wondering about who is better off now. Those laid off and on their way to something else or those that stayed.

hey Alec, why not? you are into Second Life and pay to be a part of it! imagine if you were paid instead!
kinda sad that the guy who created it and gets paid good $$$ can’t seem to stand being part of it!

In light of all the MS/LL news a couple of weeks ago, I find it very interesting that Ray Ozzie of MS XBox Division, who was an original investor in LL and strong proponent of cloud computing, steps down from his position at Microsoft on the very same day and does not disclose what his plans are.
Can you say “Ray Linden”?

@Shang Haha. You conspiracy theorist!
But wait? He is responsible for Fuse Labs (http://fuse.microsoft.com/) – (Future Social Experiences) within Microsoft which focus’s on innovation around future social web experiences.
