i forgot about drama in virtual worlds – Lord knows that there is plenty in Second Life and i’ve been blessed to be drama-free since i’m a hermit on Enclave Harbour and on Sim-on-a-Stick (funny, i do look down to see if someone has chatted with me if i’ve stepped away from sim-on-a-stick for a few minutes – old habits die hard!) =)
with the prospect of having a home in Kitely at some point, some signage seemed to be in order. i wanted something universal so that everyone could be equally offended, so the Greek Drama Masks seemed appropriate for inspiration. yes, these fine artistic creations are Ener-originals – kindergarten colouring has finally paid off! =D
don’t hesitate and go get your 4-pack of No Drama signs today!
they come pre-mounted to OSHA compliant posts complete with breakaway mounting rivets! that may seem overly dramatic but . . .
unfortunately, No Drama signs seem to spur more drama, not less – but i suppose all the virtual world’s a stage!

I certainly have none. Thanks for the signs, Ener, they’ll be going up on Misfit’s Folly, Port Conor and Excelsior Station pretty quick :-)
Pics to follow :-D

Good kindergarten colouring!
In addition, I consider that drama is guilty of destroy a lot of common projects. Naturally, the daily drama is unavoidable and we should be able to fight in the wild road.
Two years ago, I remember a talented and powerfull decorator in the Royal Court, always discussing and creating drama. I was the only voluntarily exiled for two weeks. He never knew wich “the exiled” was the only person tired of him…But I was the only one that never discussed with him…
Moral of this fable: the contenders of a drama has a motive to rest and fight, meanwhile, the people is preparing the bag and migrating to peaceful group.
Kind regards.

lol Sarge on no drama signs in “serious” places like yours! that would make me guffaw out loud! =D
oh Wizzy! you are the drama queen of mathematics and fractals! ;)
nice example Montnegre and so true – there is always drama in life and some real drama is necessary for change and growth. but much drama is simply feeding the ego and serving little constructive use
lol Ilan, glad it did not come across as saying i expect lots of drama in Kitely! in fact, one could possibly use drama as an indicator of success! after all, LL makes serious coin from SL which has lots of drama! =)
yay Mera! soon, yes we will be neighbours and your world photo on Kitely looks fabulous! i like the birch trees very much! is there a huge meatball house for canadian visitors to stay in while visiting? =p

My places are serious? *scratches head* I’ve never thought of them like that. I’ve always intended them to be used for fun. Maybe I better build some practical joke stuff. And a pub. Maybe that’ll help.

Hi Mera,
I recommend you use the feature we recently rolled out to add the picture of your world to the public worlds page. For details please see: http://blog.kitely.com/2012/08/17/high-performance-big-worlds-and-world-pictures/
Also, adding a bit more info to the world description can help it be found when people search for worlds in the Public Worlds page: http://www.kitely.com/#!search

Love the signage, well done. Have you considered that they would make excellent T-Shirts ? Seems a natural to me in any case, but then again, maybe if a person wore such a T, it would likely cause more drama than not. LOL

Rivets? This is madness!

thanks WhiteStar – i am also pleased with the art work. of course, i can’t take credit for the nope scope but i did draw the theatre masks myself (the mouth is actually a parentheses)
i was thinking of submitting this to threadless-tees and have this artwork as a vector, so it will scale to 300 dpi
feel free to snag it or i can send you a large one, there are transparents on Flickr but they are 512 squares which would print to a very small 4.3 cm! =)
rivets? rivets? we don’t need no stinkin’ rivets! =D

I have to confess, it doesn’t :-D
It is made to look like it, though. An air-tight silo entrance into an underground bunker to escape from all the FUD and drama and ‘versus’ BS that’s been going around lately. High def TV, WiFi, NetFlix, its got the whole works :-D
And it could be put on top of a build, then edited and scripted to work as an actual entrance.
Although, its kinda true as it is. After all, there is no escaping those things :-P

Geez, now I’m thinking of an above ground Bunker *laughs*

Drama is the only thing that can ruin someone’s metaverse enjoyment if you care too much about it. When I began in virtualworlds two years ago, I began to be a like that until I came to reality and just understand that why care too much about drama in vritual worlds?. Eventought i wrote a small article about (Sometimes Residents just Sucks ….. Even on Virtual Worlds!). I really don’t care about drama and I always avoid two things in virtualworld that’s are:
1- Drama
2- Virtual Partners.
Virtual worlds are enjoyment not to take it so seriously. I always see it like a game and not as a real life.
