long weekend for US and Canada: what are you doing in-world?

time to get out the list of things to do in-world for the long weekend. but many of you will need to balance family stuff, grilling, beer drinking, yard work, and virtual world fun. it’s great time to just chill and do whatever you want to in virtual worlds

so toss the list out and just have fun (irl and in-world)

i’m gonna mess with my pink spaceship which serves no purpose whatsoever except as a way to unwind. having the ability to use and link so many prims is a luxury i never had in second life and it’s weird, for me, to build with so much more detail without caring about prim count (643 linked prims so far!)  =)

to balance out the high prim count and load it can have on a viewer, i am using no textures at all, just using colours and shine to see what happens

good luck with your fun and treat yourself like the rockstar you are – we all have greatness within, but sometimes it’s hard to believe in yourself, for me anyway

moving on from Canada Day to the Fourth of July! *puts down Molson, picks up Sam Adams*

  1. As crazy as I am… Instead of spending my time in 2nd Life getting my crap together to move to OpenSim, I added to my land a bit to do a new store and hangout. I working on it a bit last night and will continue that process between family and kids over the long weekend.

  2. hey nothing wrong with that! SL should be a relaxing and creative outlet, imo, and it sounds like you are doing what you like. that’s what more people should do

family and kids are good too! =)
