Hackers Sleepless City (黑客不夜城) is nearing completion but still needs some testing. yesterday i discovered that two shop level mazes did not have a way out!
thankfully, the modular aspect of the city apartments makes it easy to do wall edits =)
i added a few more treasures – a floating gold Tsuba (i mistakenly called it a Tsuka and need to change its name) and some kind of magic urn
a current list of treasures is on a tablet in the downed helicopter but hints are nonexistent or obscure at best!
i’ll turn on access tonight and we are covering the Kitely Credits which means it’s free for anyone to visit, even people who have never tried Kitely =)
if the world needs to spin up, it takes about a minute and starts from this link:
黑客不夜城 – Hackers Sleepless City
later this week (i have to work tomorrow, bah!), probably on tuesday, i may turn off access to spend some time testing. i found some duplicate prims in stairways and even one set of stairs that went into a second floor maze wall! oops!
here are some specs on it:
- about 60 hours of build time
- 852 apartments
- 36,853 prims and 8 scripts o_O
- no flying
- time set to 1:59 AM
- damage is enabled (not sure where home is for Kitely if you are a visitor)
feel free to check it out and have fun! =)

thus far … I fell off the roof … it’s a long way down … then I fell down a manhole …. somebody left the cover off …. then I fell in some water, at least I think it’s water .. upside is, I fell on a bucket of gold coins. Mine all mine for 0 KC. Only thing is I think I should be drowning, that’s if it is water …
I really don’t go for this sort of thing but the sneak preview looked interesting, graphics are really good, size of the whole thing is impressive.

Kudos Ener :-)
That’s some very impressive building in a very short time (for the level of detail you achieved).

amazingly detailed and easy to get lost in even for a skilled navigator. best appreciated in mouse look. one thing I noticed was falls even from the top of buildings don’t kill. I also noticed that it’s very hard to get out of the water in some spots once you fall in, I had to resort to using a double click teleport to get out

Thanks Ilan
Good feedback SHAMUS, I’ll slope the two water spots underground
