the Hax Nuit shop-level mazes are classic mazes with one entrance and one exit. a few are two level and some are harder than others
i loaded up a backup OAR from Kitely onto Sim-on-a-Stick and deleted all the apartments in order to get the maze images
each maze image shows its corresponding building number and all are oriented with north at the top of the image
entrance/exits are marked with yellow balls and two story mazes mark their ramps/ladders with red balls and the second level is above the first in the image (ooh, so clever eh?) =p
looking at these images should help you determine which are harder – i don’t know if ranking them on an image serves any purpose
for those who like mazes, i suppose you could time yourself for each one. it would be kind of neat to have some kind of scripted boards in-world that could grab your name and start a clock when you enter and post your time upon exit (hint to DreamWalker). listing like the top 30 times or something . . .
the mazes can be done in mouselook but are also large enough that you can place the camera tight behind and above your avatar’s head =)
here are the little versions and clicking the images will bring you to their Flickr page where different sizes can be looked at
note: there is no maze in building 3 and buildings 9 and 10 are nearest the telehub start and are the easiest mazes to get you warmed up. building 1 and 2 have the hardest mazes and are farthest to the north

wow! that was a lot of work. and i make no puns about how amazing it all looks. wait, i just did…

So i’ve never been on opensim in my life and know nothing about, im a SL addict, yes still!!!! :P
Anyhow on the timer/boards thing, they have those in SL so maybe something could be converted over or what not? They use them for the pony and puppy girl courses. Just a Board you cross the start line it tracks yer name and time you started, then stops when you his the finish line. The board displays the top 5-20 contestants.
Hope that helps some how.

hi anka! thank you for the excellent suggestion! that would be perfect and i’ll search for some code out there. i never thought of it like a race track with a starting line but that is exactly what this is
if you are a full-on hardcore SL fan, then OpenSim isn’t there yet. there are some events, places like InWorldz and 3rd Rock Grid do have great events – but there just isn’t the sheer number of people in-world yet to compare with SL
when i had an SL estate, there were events almost every night just on the 19 sims i had! music, art shows, parties – i do miss that “ener-gy” =)
have fun and thank you for making me look at this from a different perspective =)
