one of our “icons” for the iliveisl estate is the ferry of Enerville. it was one of the first things we built when we bought our first sim. in fact, it may have been the first thing – so it is very sentimental to us =)

the ferry now is in several places – Enerville (actually in Ener Strait). Enercity Harbor (complete with hot dog cart), Enercity Square (with a hot dog cart bicycle dealio), and a modified one in Enercity Shores (modded by Norm, that one has had a rougher life than the others) :(

there’s even a tiny model of the ferry that you can buy for a dollar! =D

so why was a ferry our first build and iconic to us for the estate?

well, in the Pacific Northwest (like Vancouver), ferries are an important part of life and are just so awesome in the summer time to ride

they all have hot dog vendors at the ferry landings in real life (stay away from the sausage bombs though – ugh, tried that once and once was enough!)  =O
