do you think you build fantasy vehicles? pfft . .

OpenSim lets you build fantasy vehicles, but are they really that out-of-this world?

i want one of these (but don’t fall into it, you might be turned into cole slaw!) o_O

  1. Nice. I can see myself owning one of those if I were to Win The Big One :-) Just imagine running down the road past a pack of Harleys on one of those! I wonder how noisy it is?

I have begun building hovervehicles of my own, but using ‘anti-grav’ rather than the ground effect of air. Here’s my first 2 and I have ideas for at least 5 more, including a hoverboard :-)

  3. Thanks, Ener. With InWorldz implementing PhysX soon, I plan on having a line of hover-vehicles available. And of course they’ll be available on Kitely and Created Worlds when it opens.

And I still want one of those Tandem Duct vehicles in RL! :-D

  4. Sarge, I’ll take one of your rocket/submarine-looking vehicles. One reason I’m eager for physics in Opensim is go-buggies like that will be sweet to fly in megaregions. *firewalls the engine and breaks the sound barrier wile flying three meters above the beach* “Geronimo!”

  5. Kimika, they work on OpenSim :-D The only issue is crossing boundaries of non-contiguous regions. ( the crashes were spectacular! *laughs* )

Once we have a secure HyperGrid, the vehicles will be made available to everyone.
