there was no snow at all on Thursday and then Friday went nuts into Saturday morning! i’m only a mile from the ocean and the coast had the heaviest snow from this, but thank goodness it was all very light and fluffy!
gee, that syrian poutine sounds outrageous!
i know La Banquise, it’s right across the street from a park! it’s been around forever! =)
we do have one place in town that has poutine, but i have not tried it yet for fear that it can’t be genuine – but locals swear it is. i think your video has pushed me to be brave and try it out! =)
Nothing better than making your own! Though I cheat a little and use shredded mozzarella instead of cheese curds. Don’t know how to make those. Still, the nice stretchy cheese makes up for any guilt over the cheating :-D
Gee, that looks nearly as nasty as it does here…
One thing that VR does not have which is critical IMO is POUTINE !
See here for more delightful reasons to embrace RL and all it’s joys.

Talk about good comfort food to survive a blustery winter squall.

Heh, I live in Alaska -six months of winter for me! I am very serious about using virtual worlds to stave off the winter doldrums.
I get really ticked off around December because everyone insists on putting up snow builds and themes -that’s the LAST thing I wanna see, lol!

your west coast poutine sounds good Sarge!
“real” curds are not technically cheese. it’s the by-product created before rennet is added, which is technically when it becomes cheese
without rennet, the curds will spoil in a few days, so traditional poutine is only made in the vicinity of a a cheese maker
real curds squeak against your teeth and taste like extra salty mild cheddar
mulled wine is a bit too classy for poutine, best with Labatt’s! =D
dang Han!!! Alaska eh? no need to make believe with virtual snow!
