1952 flashback to flying saucers – free!

how many people have you run into that poo-poo the idea of virtual worlds when you tell them about how awesome they are?

well, those people are poot heads and they need not read this post because this is for people with imaginations, like people had in the late 1940s and 1950s. the atomic era dawned and along with it came thoughts of aliens from Mars studying us and flying cars. anything seemed possible (even going to the moon!) and many people were open to the fantastic! =)

maybe some of us in OpenSim aren’t so much pioneers as much as we are people that dare to dream. without dreams, nothing new would ever be created (cell phones, mp3 players, virtual worlds)

rage issues?

i’ve been wanting to make a mid-century flying saucer and made one last year, but it soon became a planet-eating destruct-o-ship with bunk-beds, a bathroom, lunch area, and enough weaponry to level a galaxy (and like 300 prims!)

the one i just made is more like it – all silver and really classic lines

the Roswell ’52 Saucer comes a a two pack – a landed saucer and a flying saucer

maybe you can detail them out like mad or add a cow to them! either way, i hope that those of you who grab it have fun and smile! hooray for imagination! =)
